  Functions and Variables Reference ?
Posted by: TCMabe - 07-08-2018, 04:44 PM - Forum: General Discussion - Replies (2)

Is there any documentation of the variables, functions and parameters that are available  to create strategies ? I have been reviewing several strategies and I am slowly picking them out, just wondering if there is a guide or a better place to search for one ?

Thanks in advance for any assistance ... seems like a very helpful community and a lot of great work has been done here !

Tongue Strategy Input
Posted by: Orpheus2 - 07-07-2018, 08:10 PM - Forum: Strategy Development - Replies (2)

I am trying to add strategies to my Gekko folder.  Which specific folder in Gekko do the .toml .js and so on files go?
Example:

.png   strategy question.PNG (Size: 3.46 KB / Downloads: 15)

I did see a thread that mentioned where to place each file but i cannot find it now.  I know this is a straight up noob question any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Gekko Trading - CLI or UI
Posted by: Rustypaterson - 07-07-2018, 07:27 AM - Forum: Automated Trading - Replies (4)

Hi there people

I would like to find out which is better for live trading. the Gekko CLI or UI? I am using the RSI_BULL_BEAR_ADX on CLI at the moment, the reason why I"m using CLI is because when I did backtesting over a few months (3 months, 4 months, 5 months and 6 months) I get a profit of between 135% - 180%

If someone can suggest which one and your reason for choosing it...

EG:- I say UI is beter because of xyz

It will be interesting to see what everyone suggests

Thanks
