I came from industrial automation, dealing with sensor data (camera, tof distance sensors etc) as such I'm familiar with state machine coding signal processing, and noise cancellation math etc.
Also I coded neural networks for commercial software, and enjoy the kaggle website (but my networks dont work in Jscript and nodeJS).
To me, market data is noice+ a signal, things that I feel familiar with.
