Luckin Coffee to pay $180 million penalty to settle accounting fraud charges

Shocked
Luckin Coffee Inc has agreed to pay a $180 million penalty to settle accounting fraud charges for “intentionally and materially” overstating its 2019 revenue and understating a net loss, U.S. regulators said on Wednesday. The U.S. Securities and Commission (SEC) fine on the China-based rival to Starbucks comes after it said earlier this year that much of its 2019 sales were fabricated, sending its shares plunging and sparking an investigation by China’s securities regulator and the SEC.

Wow, it's enormously painful when you pay such fines

Currently, everyone is facing quite serious problems related to payments. It is primarily because of the situation with Covid, which has brought the level of online purchases and supply/demand operations to another level. Therefore, many platforms help people realize their goals and objectives with one click. Here https://www.thepaystubs.com /, which I have been using for a couple of months now and realized how effective it is and how simple the process of registering, making some online payments, and as safe and reliable payment is. Therefore, I kindly recommend it to people who are involved in many business payments.
