Imagine with one hour candleSize it does nothing in between.
only once per hour, Gekko checks the price/Trend and make a decision BUT:
If Gekko recognized a change THEN it will PERSIST ANY CHANGE for one more hour,
in order to acknowledge a TREND.
This means a TREND must stay for 121minutes in order for gecko to make a change
With a Warmup Period of 10 it will take 10 HOURS, collecting History before starting.
Persistance and Warmup Period are mesured in CandelSize:
1h Candlesize=1 Persistance=1 Warmup Period
So in 24h - 10h(warmup)=14h (tradingtime)
...persistance... 1hour
You could try with tini ammount of moneyand wait a bit longer because maybe your Strat takes some more time
