Gekko only needs the Currency AND the Asset you have choosen for it to trade with.
Everything else is yours:
Gekko is only intrested in its pair so your wallet will be perfectly fine.
You can trade other pairs and use your exchange as you like.
Even if you would deposit or withdraw, from the pair Gekko is choosen for:
Gekko dont mind and keep on working even if there is no ammount at all OR more.
ONLY THE PROFIT CALCULATION WOULD NOT BE CORRECT...
...since gekko takes the start ammount of Currency FOR CALCULATING THE PROFIT.
Gekko does check the balance before every Trade in order to calculate the positions to make.
the PortofolioManager then makes the Trade after reciving the Long/Short SIGNAL from the Trader.
If it is not possible to Sell/Buy the Position, it (PortofolioManager) will recalculate the new price, and place the Position again,
UNTIL IT IS FULLFILLED
