Installed Gekko but the BOT is not trading (BINANCE)

Hello Mike,
Followed the manual and installed Gekko everything looks fine, but the bot is not trading. Is there anything i have to look at? because i dont know what to do. Best Regards, Govandos

What are your settings:
OS Strategie settings Candle size Warmup size ..... what are your backtest results: -how many trades per day/week simulated to estimate behaviour?
Well did a backtest now!
Backtest Settings: Default Backtest Strategy: MACD short = 10 long = 21 signal = 9 [thresholds] down = -0.025 up = 0.025 persistence = 1 Simulated prfot was: 5.89237%

-candleSize -Warmup period -Result (Amount of trades per day) -Test periods (days/weeks/month)

how long did you left the LiveGekko trading? before you stopt it

Imagine with one hour candleSize it does nothing in between.
only once per hour, Gekko checks the price/Trend and make a decision BUT: If Gekko recognized a change THEN it will PERSIST ANY CHANGE for one more hour, in order to acknowledge a TREND. This means a TREND must stay for 121minutes in order for gecko to make a change With a Warmup Period of 10 it will take 10 HOURS, collecting History before starting. Persistance and Warmup Period are mesured in CandelSize: 1h Candlesize=1 Persistance=1 Warmup Period So in 24h - 10h(warmup)=14h (tradingtime) ...persistance... 1hour You could try with tini ammount of moneyand wait a bit longer because maybe your Strat takes some more time |
