Which do you like more jazz or blues ?

Since I remember myself I was absolutely fond of jazz. I guess my grandparents introduced it to me then I used to stay with them during summer holidays. They had a vintage turntable and a bunch of vinyl records. Thanks to granny we were listening to Frank Sinatra mostly. Back then my grandfather taught me to play his guitar. Actually, I was hopeless and he lost his temper every time I hit the wrong note. I've recently bought my own guitar and decided to learn to play it on my own. I started with brushing up the jazz guitar booksand suddenly learning with proper manuals turned out to be more effective than learning from old grumpy musician. I`m thinking about surprising the old man with some of his favorite tunes.
