Want to talk to your strategy? Now you can - zappra - 04-13-2018 Gekko has support for a telegram bot that can respond to commands. I've extended it so you can do stuff like Initiate manual buys/sells Tweak strategy parameters on the fly Query internal state Send messages from your strategy via telegram ... and so on There's just one teeny teeny problem, it needs resolving against the latest changes in the main gekko depot. If anyone's interested in this, shout, and I'll take a look at resolving the overlaps so you can grab the PR. If you want to take a look at the changes it's here https://github.com/askmike/gekko/pull/2103 Cheers z RE: Want to talk to your strategy? Now you can - Kris191 - 04-14-2018 i dont currently use telegram but if i can receive advice and send commands from it i would jump straight in my gmail account is getting full of gekko emails !!!! I installed it from this link: https://www.npmjs.com/package/tgfancy Anyway I'm not able to make it work. Edited all files from that pull. Started gekko from cmd. Gekko stuck on start with message: node-telegram-bot-api deprecated Automatic enabling of cancellation of promises is deprecated. I can reach bot in telegram, but he doesn't accept any commands. What am I doing wrong?? PS: With original telegrambot I was able to get at least /help reply or /price from market.. but couldnt control it anyhow so was trying to find something new. RE: Want to talk to your strategy? Now you can - zappra - 05-11-2018 Sorry due to other commitments I've got limited time to look at this right now. Out of the box, the bot should respond to /price and /portfolio commands at least. Has Gekko crashed? Are you able to debug Gekko? RE: Want to talk to your strategy? It doesnt crash, but its "stuck" on start screen when the logo is showed and it starts running/setting plugins.. Setting up Gekko - OK Setting up: Trading Advisor Calculate trading advice Using the strategy: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ...and nothing else, stuck.. I tried to disable telegram bot but still didn't help. I suspect the trader.js / portfolioManager.js is buggy or problem in there.. as I used all your 8 files from that link and replaced original. since then its "stuck". from logs I cant get nothing : Please help UPDATE: found out that "log.js" is causing the "stuck" , not sure why ... it must be realted to your new remoteloging or something.. can you help with that? |
